The value of green infrastructure for urban climate adaptation
CCAP releases new report that provides information on the costs and benefits of green infrastructure solutions for bolstering local adaptations to climate change
The Center for Clean Air Policy (CCAP) has just released a report entitled The Value of Green Infrastructure for Urban Climate Adaptation. In this paper, CCAP provides information on the costs and benefits of "green" infrastructure solutions for bolstering local adaptation to climate change. Thereport provides numerous examples from throughout the United States that demonstrate the economic value of green infrastructure projects, including green roofs and urban forestry. This report should be a useful reference for advocates of urban greening projects.
