I am a profound lover of nature, and the thought of an unhealthy environmental has prompted me to obtain a PhD in Natural Resources/Environmental Sciences. This will enable me to combine research, teaching, community development, and environmental policies with the advisement of students and government agencies on Natural Resource Management, Environmental and Ecological issues affecting us today. I choose Natural Resource Management as my area of emphasis, because of the relationship it has with my earlier college studies. It would prepare me for a career in developing and restoring disturbed areas, organizing activities in parks and recreational areas and to enhance the Tourism Industry of Jamaica.
My aspiration involves incorporation of discipline and scholarly research; also to provide innovative leadership and understanding in my area of discipline whilst demonstrating professional demeanor to the public and private sectors. I am excited to be a part of the CSUS team and look forward in making my tenure one of inspiration and meaning to all.
