Education

B.S. - Biology, B.A. - Environmental Studies, Case Western Reserve University, 2020

Background

I grew up outside of Boston in Sudbury, Massachusetts where I gained an interest in fishing and nature early on. I took that interest with me to my undergraduate studies at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio where I received degrees in Biology and Environmental Studies. While at CWRU I developed an interest in fisheries research, and developed my capstone on investigating the impacts of road runoff on local stream ecology. Outside of school I have spent time as an Aquatic Research Technician with the Cleveland Metroparks and as a Creel Clerk with the Ohio Division of Wildlife. I am now excited to be pursuing a M.S. at Michigan State and want to build a career in fisheries research.

Research

For my research, I am investigating the impacts of climate change on the stock-recruitment of walleye in Lake Erie.
