Farid joined the group in Spring 2023 and is working on Phase Change Materials obtained from Recycling Plastics. He competed his bachelor's degree at Baku Higher Oil School, Azerbaijan with a major in Chemical Engineering. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD in Chemical Engineering and Material Science at Michigan State University.

He is keenly interested in sustainable materials, recycling, the circular economy, as well as start-ups, entrepreneurship, and business. He is striving to pursue opportunities in these fields.
