Biography
Ehsan Ghane is an Associate Professor in Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering at Michigan State University. He earned his Ph.D. from The Ohio State University, focusing on conservation drainage, and completed a postdoctoral appointment at the University of Michigan. His research and extension programs focus on agricultural water management, water quality, and subsurface drainage. His work integrates field research and applied tools to evaluate conservation drainage practices.
Scholarly Program Overview: His program combines monitoring, experimentation, field-scale modeling, and decision-support tools to quantify and improve management of drainage water and reduce nutrient loss while maintaining crop yield.
