Makayla Casarez provides support to the 4-H program in Barry County.

A lifelong Barry County 4-H’er, Makayla spent more than a decade as a youth member and now serves as a certified 4-H Volunteer Leader, bringing deep local knowledge and a strong commitment to positive youth development.

In her role, Makayla will support clubs, volunteers, and youth through program delivery and community engagement. She is a recent Summa Cum Laude graduate of Aquinas College, earning a Bachelor of Arts in History. Makayla’s background combines hands-on 4-H leadership with experience in education, youth development, and community-focused work, making her a valuable addition to the Barry County 4-H program.
