Maria Camila Buitrago Acosta
Maria Buitrago is a PhD student in the Plant Breeding Genetics and Biotechnology program. Her work currently focuses on understanding the effects of post-harvest storage of sugar beets in bolting and disease susceptibility to Botrytis cinerea and Fusarium gramminearum. Maria is from Bogotá, Colombia. Her academic interests include plant-pathogen interactions, bioinformatics and teaching science. She also enjoys drawing and painting.
