Dr. Michelle Riblet is founder & managing director of AgriFood Systems Consulting. She is experienced in agri-food industrial, research, and regulatory environments and has worked within the Irish and UAE food control authorities. Michelle has extensive experience supporting governments in building the essential foundations for sustainable and safe agrifood control systems. Her experience includes the development and implementation of national food policy and legislation for governments globally (e.g., for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, Republic of Myanmar, Albania, and the National SPS policy for Togo and Burkina Faso).

Through her consultancy business, Michelle provides an objective unbiased support service to deliver complex projects for governments, private industry, and international institutions across challenging policy areas such as EU Enlargement, food safety and security, agri-food sustainability, the circular bioeconomy, traceability and digitalization, and National Food Systems Transformation.

Dr. Riblet holds PhD in Biosystems Engineering from University College Dublin, Ireland.
