Myat Thida Win is a Ph.D. student in Agricultural, Food, and Resource Economics at Michigan State University. She has several years of experience leading research projects and primary data collection in Myanmar. In the past, she worked closely with the government and other key stakeholders for the evidence-based policy formulation and policy reform for the agricultural and rural development in Myanmar. She received her bachelor’s degree in Economics in 2015 (Randolph-Macon College, United States) and master’s degree in Agricultural, Food, and Resource Economics (Michigan State University, United States) in 2019. Her research interests include technology adoption and its role in climate change, poverty reduction, rural development, and rural transformation.
