Biography
Dr. Ali is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in MSU Irrigation Lab, with research focus on precision irrigation, nutrient management, and soil-plant-water interactions. He integrates advanced sensing technologies, lysimeters, sap flow measurements, geophysical methods, simulation modeling, plasma-activated water, and non-destructive root phenotyping to improve water and nutrient use efficiency. His work focuses on deep percolation, agricultural return flow, and groundwater recharge, while developing innovative strategies to enhance crop productivity and environmental sustainability.
My scholarly program advances sustainable agriculture by integrating precision irrigation, nutrient management, sensor technologies, plasma-activated water, root phenotyping, and modelling to improve efficiency, productivity, and resilience.
