After graduating from MSU (in Fall 2021), I returned to my home country, Indonesia, to continue my career at the University of Bina Nusantara in Jakarta. Currently, I am a faculty member at the Tourism Destination study program; teaching Tourism studies to undergraduate students, conducting research into tourism-related topics, and undertaking tourism-related community development programs. My academic interests include heritage tourism, specifically community-based heritage tourism, and community-based tourism entrepreneurship. I ocassionally am involved in regional and national governments’ tourism destination planning and management projects in Indonesia. In the future, I aspire to develop my academic career within the Tourism or heritage fields at an international level and to collaborate with multinational colleagues, while also maintaining my small tourism enterprise.
My career in the tourism field has been giving me ample opportunities to travel, which I find beneficial for my personal and career development. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, listening to music, and learning basic photography.
