What is the Plant Science Grad Student Research Symposium?

The symposium, dating back to 2002, provides an annual forum for graduate students in plant sciences and related fields to display and present their research for evaluation and constructive feedback from faculty and post-doc judges. Students from the Departments of Horticulture; Crop and Soil Sciences; Plant Biology; Plant Breeding, Genetics, and Biotechnology; Forestry; Plant Pathology; Fisheries and Wildlife; Biochemistry and Molecular Biology; Entomology and more have participated over the years. This event is an opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to learn more about the research conducted in plant sciences at Michigan State University as well as to exchange research ideas, polish presentations, make and renew friendships, and receive valuable feedback.
