2022 Growing Together SNAP-Ed Highlights

Growing Together is a multi-state SNAP-Ed donation garden project that increases access to fruits and vegetables, promotes healthy food access, and provides nutrition and gardening education to individuals and families who are food insecure. SNAP-Ed, the Master Gardener Program and food pantries are working together to build and maintain donation gardens in their communities.

482 Master Gardener volunteers contributed time to the project.

Volunteers contributed 15,779 hours to the project.

318 food pantries and distribution sites received produce as a result of the project.

221,502 pounds of fruits and vegetables were supplied to food pantries and distribution sites.
