THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN THE OTTAWA
COUNTY YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM.

IN THE OTTAWA COUNTY CLUB DIRECTORY, YOU WILL FIND
CLUBS GEOGRAPHIC LOCATIONS AND A LISTING OF
THE PROJECTS THAT THEY ARE MOST HEAVILY
INVOVLED IN.

JOIN AN EXISTING CLUB:

TAKE A LOOK AT WHAT OUR CLUBS HAVE TO OFFER
IN OTTAWA COUNTY. CONTACT THE CLUB LEADER
DIRECTLY TO SEE IF THAT CLUB WILL BE A GOOD
MATCH FOR YOUR FAMILY. NOT ALL CLUBS OFFER
ALL PROJECTS. SO FIND A CLUB THAT ODDERS
LEADERSHIP IN THE PROJECT AREA THAT MEETS
YOUR INTERESTS.

START YOUR OWN CLUB:

ALL YOU NEED IS 5-10 KIDS AND AN ADULT
VOLUNTEER TO ORGANIZE THE CLUB. CHOOSE THE
AREAS OF INTEREST AND MEETING TIMES. OUR 4-H
STAFF WILL HELP YOU GET STARTED.

DECIDE ON A PROJECT:

THERE ARE MANY DIFFERENT PROJECT AREAS FOR
4-H MEMBERS TO PARTICIPATE IN. WHETHER YOUR
AREA OF INTEREST IS ANIMAL BASED,
AGRICULTURE, PHOTOGRAPHY, SCIENCE, OR EVEN
THEATRE. THE SKY IS THE LIMIT AND YOU ARE ONLY
RESTRICTED BY YOUR IMAGINATION.

ENROLL IN 4-H ONLINE:

MICHIGAN 4-H USES 4-H ONLINE TO MANAGE
MEMBER ENROLLMENTS. YOU CAN FIND THE
WEBSITE AT MI.4HONLINE.COM. IF YOU HAVE ANY
QUESTIONS ABOUT ENROLLING, PLEASE CONTACT
THE EXTENSION OFFICE FOR HELP. WE LOOK
FORWARD TO MEETING YOU AND ENROLLING YOUR
FAMILY AS 4-H MEMBERS!
