When children get involved in community service activities when they’re young, they’re more likely to develop a lifelong habit of service to others. Consider involving your 4-H Cloverbuds (4-H’ers aged 5 to 8) in community service activities this year. They’ll practice being responsible, caring for others and doing their share to make their communities better. This document contains a variety of community service activities geared for 5- to 8-year-olds, a list of children's books related to service learning and a list of days to center community service projects around.
