Call for Proposals and Session ideas

The Michigan Onsite Wastewater Conference is now accepting presentation proposals for the 2025 conference in East Lansing, Michigan to be held January 7-8, 2025.  This annual conference is an in-person event running for more than 70 years, bringing together hundreds of practitioners from all sectors of the onsite wastewater industry.

Submittals for this Call for Proposals should be submitted online by July 31, 2024.

Presentation Proposals should focus on the following subject matter relating to the onsite wastewater industry:

  • Case Studies
  • Design & Engineering of Septic Systems
  • Innovative Research or Emerging Technologies
  • Health & Safety
  • Inspecting Systems
  • Operation & Maintenance
  • Portable Restrooms & Tank Pumping*
  • Regulations & Permitting
  • Wastewater Education & Training
  • Workforce Development
  • Other (please provide description as it relates to onsite wastewater)

*Please note that topics directly relating to septic tanks, septage management, or aspects of septage businesses may be eligible for CSE credit application as outlined in Part 117 and approved by the Septage Program staff of EGLE and are therefore encouraged.
