Step 3: Assess and Evaluate your worksite using the tools below. If you don't know where you're at, you won't know where to start!
Step 4: Get Actionable Feedback by reviewing the results of your assessment. Share the information with your worksite wellness committee and get feedback from employees by using interest and feedback surveys.
Step 5: Plan and Prioritze Actions by using the feedback from Step 4. Your MSU Extension coach can help you prioritize actions to best meet your needs and be realistic and accomplishable. You can improve your workplace health with many no- to low-cost solutions. See resources in step 6.
Assessments
Designing Healthy Environments at Work Assessment (DHEW)
Summary: The DHEW is the main evaluation tool for MSU Extension coaches to use as a pre and post survey to measure our impact. It is easiest for worksites to utilize the print version to answer the questions and then set up an account and input the information onto the web version.
