New workshop module for RELAX Alternatives to Anger targets parents and caregivers
A one-time workshop for parents and caregivers of young children has been added to the MSU Extension RELAX: Alternatives to Anger program. The workshop explores the five RELAX concepts with adults who live and work with children who are in the process of developing the social emotional skills needed to deal with stress, anger and strong emotion. A strong literacy component assists participants in exploring unique ways they can address anger and strong emotion with children in their care. The workshop can range from 1.5 to three hours depending on the audience. For more information or to schedule this workshop or other MSU Extension RELAX trainings, contact Lisa Tams at tams@msu.edu or 734-727-7236.
