Program Details

Duration:

12 weeks- Typically early May to mid August

 

Salary and benefits:

Full time, max 40 hours/week ($16.00/hour)
Student health insurance available as needed

 

Expectations:

If students are conducting research at MSU campus, they are expected to commute to the lab/location at which they are working.

 

Program Objectives

  1. Provide an immersive research and professional development experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) fields for students with limited opportunities to pursue mentored research.
  2. Promote a novel generation of scientists by cultivating the skills required to create and sustain comprehensive environments that are vital to the success of our graduates and the future of entomology as a profession.
