People making a difference. Faculty and staff in the Department of Fisheries and Wildlife prepare students for impactful careers in conservation, natural resource management, environmental science, research, policy, education, consulting, and related fields.
Through degree programs in Applied Conservation Biology, Aquatic Ecology and Management, Fish Ecology and Management, Fisheries and Wildlife, and Wildlife Ecology and Management, students gain hands-on experience and a strong scientific foundation for addressing today's environmental and conservation challenges. Faculty and staff are committed to excellence in teaching, mentoring, and research, leading projects that advance understanding and stewardship of fish, wildlife, aquatic ecosystems, and the human communities connected to them.
