"For-Credit" Enrollment (MSU Lifelong Education Graduate Enrollment) "Non-Credit" Enrollment
Cost: MSU tuition rate for Lifelong education graduate students. Use the tuition calculator, select "Lifelong Education" for question #2 ("your level"). Cost: rate set by IFLR (currently approximately 55% of MSU tuition rate).
Graded on participation, tests/quizzes, assignments, and/or exams, according to criteria outlined in the course syllabus. Not required to participate in discussions, assignments or quizzes/tests/exams. Still receive instructor feedback on any of the above that you choose to complete, but no grade will be assigned.
Students earn an IFLR certificate after successful completion of 12 applicable credits. Cannot be used towards one of our IFLR certificates.
Students may request transfer of up to 9 credits with a minimum grade of 3.0 into a degree program, such as IFLR's MS in Food Regulatory Affairs, MSU Global Food Law or the MSU Online Food Safety Program. Cannot seek academic credit transfer into a master's degree program.
Enroll via MSU Lifelong Education. Enroll and pay using a credit card via IFLR Storefront.
MSU Registrar's Lifelong Education cancellation policies apply. Full refund if cancelled more than 3 business days before the course begins. $100 cancellation fee if cancelled within 3 business days or after course begins. Substitutions may be made at any time before the start of class.
Student receives a NetID and MSU email account. Students are responsible for all communications to their MSU email address. Students may forward their MSU email to another non-MSU email address. All official MSU communications will be sent to the MSU email address only. Student signs up for a Community ID using the email address of their choice. The community ID will be used to log into the online learning system.
NetID allows access to all MSU library resources. Community ID does not allow access to MSU library resources.
