How to Apply
Admission to the MSFRA begins with the completion of the MSU graduate student online application form, submission of the application fee, and the uploading of supporting documents.
Step 1: Complete the online application
Start the graduate application form here: https://explore.msu.edu/apply/
Tips:
- Application type = Graduate
- In the "other information" section, your major preference is "Food Regulatory Affairs (Masters)"
- Add contact information for 3 recommenders in the references section. An email will be sent to your recommenders providing them the information on where to go to submit their letters electronically.
- Under test scores: no GRE required
- You can check on the status of your application at any time by logging into https://explore.msu.edu/apply/. and choosing "returning users."
Step 2: Pay the application fee
$65 for domestic students, $75 for international students
Step 3: Upload remaining application documents
- Statement of purpose
- Curriculum Vitae
Step 4: Submit your transcripts
- Submit official transcripts for every post-secondary degree you have earned.
- If you completed your undergraduate degree at MSU, you do not need to submit official MSU transcripts.
- Transcripts from other institutions need to be submitted through an official e-scripting service.
