MSU Extension Master Gardeners (EMGs) need to earn 10 education credits each year as part of their annual re-certification. The easiest way to earn these credits is by signing up for the MSU EMG Dig In! Series. See your Volunteer Central Dashboard to register for Dig In. Current Dig In webinars are not open to the general public.
Other ways for MSU EMGs to earn qualified hours is by participating in MSU Extension in-person and virtual opportunities posted on our MSU EMG Events Webpage. Additional ways to earn MSU EMG educational hours are:
- Watching previously recorded MSU EMG webinars (see below).
- Reading or re-reading units of Foundations of Gardening - ask your local MSU EMG contact on how to access these in D2L.
- Reading MSU Extension News Articles, Bulletins, etc., relevant to the MSU EMG Mission.
- Other science-based educational opportunities that meet the MSU EMG mission - contact your local MSU EMG staff person to determine if it qualifies.
