Volunteer Central (VC) is the database that MSU Extension Master Gardeners use to log volunteer and continuing education hours and locate volunteer projects. If you have any questions about how to use Volunteer Central, please contact your local Consumer Horticulture Educator.
MSU Extension Master Gardeners can only report volunteer hours on approved MSU Extension Master Gardener Projects. Miles driven to and from volunteer projects can count towards those hours. The number of miles driven can be entered too.
MSU Extension Master Gardeners should report educational hours for time spent learning but cannot report hours traveling to and from an educational event. Not all educational opportunities qualify for MSU Extension Master Gardener continued education. Contact your local MSU Extension Master Gardener staff for assistance determining eligibility.
