At MSU Extension we make team action plans, individual action plans, and individual professional development plans each fall for the upcoming calendar year. This site outlines due dates, instructions, and training sessions.

2026 Planning Timeline and Due Dates

• 8/15 CFEI Miro Boards open 
• 10/1 by 6 pm AABI Team Plans due in PEARS
• 10/1 CYI Plans open in PEARS
• 10/15 AABI and HNI Plans open in PEARS

2026 Professional Development Plans

Good professional development plans will show that an individual is making efforts to improve in one or more of MSU Extension's core competencies. Core competency documentation can be found here. 2026 Professional Development Plans are due November 17, 2025 by 6 pm for AABI, HNI, and CYI and are due November 5, 2025 by 6 pm for CFEI.
