Background:
Carly Andrews works in Dr. Gary Roloff’s lab, where she studies the effects of recreation on ecological communities in central Michigan state parks. Carly graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Conservation Biology and in Biochemistry from Warren Wilson College (Asheville, NC) in May of 2020. As an undergraduate, Carly played for the Warren Wilson Women’s soccer team and worked on the campus construction crew. She also did over 200 hours of community service, restoring historically black cemeteries and building tiny homes to house the homeless with Asheville’s BeLoved. Outside of her work in wildlife, Carly enjoys creating art, taking care of her houseplants, playing with her cats, and taking road trips.
