Background:
Grace is a master's student in the Fisheries and Wildlife program studying the drivers of recreational harvest in North America and the associated benefits of harvested meat. In her undergraduate research Grace worked on quantifying the value of wild meat obtained from recreational harvest through the 2019-2020 to the 2024-2025 hunting seasons for each state in the United States based on reported harvest records. Her interests include analysis of game harvest associated with hunter participation, the North American model initiative, natural resource management and policy, and food security. She earned her B.S. in Fisheries and Wildlife Management with a concertation in Disease Ecology and Management from Michigan State University in 2026. In her free time, Grace enjoys hiking, hunting, and reading.
