Join the MSU Product Center and our colleagues from the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development for a free educational webinar on May 21, 2026, from 7-8:30 p.m., to learn more about important legal updates to the Michigan Cottage Food Law.
The webinar will highlight revisions to sales regulations, including increased revenue limits and a broader range of approved distribution methods for homemade goods and home-based food entrepreneurs. The presentation will also include an introduction of the new voluntary registration system that will allow small businesses operating under the Michigan Cottage Food Law to obtain a unique registration number to expand labeling options.
