Erica Reister
Erica Reister is a Michigan State University Extension Food Safety Educator based in Muskegon County, Michigan. She serves Districts 5 & 7 including the following counties:
Mason, Lake, Oceana, Muskegon, Newago, Ottawa, Kent, Allegan, and Barry.
Erica provides research-based educational programming on food safety and the following topics

Before joining MSU Extension, Erica was a physical education teacher and elementary athletic director for Grand Rapids Public Schools for 7 years. She obtained a Master of Arts degree in Athletic Administration from Concordia University and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and Health from Grand Valley State University.
Erica's passion for personal health and wellness translates into her role in educating Michiganders about safe food practices in home and commercial cooking and food preservation.
