Research Interests:

Jacob is working on issues surrounding sustainability of wild animal harvests. He has worked with a variety of vertebrate species on various topics such as sea turtle nesting & diving behavior, vulture diet & roosting behavior in the context of aircraft collisions, and incorporation of mesocarnivore ecology into wildlife disease management. His research interests include scavenging ecology, road ecology, human-wildlife conflict, and wildlife conservation.
