As the summer sun sets, the "back-to-school" hustle moves in. Between extracurriculars and the looming holiday rush, your calendar can quickly become a blur of overlapping commitments. It’s easy to let self-care slide when the days feel too short, but September is actually the perfect time to reclaim your rhythm. To help you navigate the end-of-year chaos without burning out, we’re inviting you to hit the "reset" button. If you’re ready to lower your stress and prioritize your well-being, come join us for our Fall Wellness Series.

Each one-hour, virtual evening session is designed to do more than inform--it will empower you with tools and strategies you can start using right away. A different topic will be featured each week, and you're welcome to join one, two, or all three sessions. 

Session 1: Caring for the Caregiver
Tuesday, Sept 8, 2026
In this session, we’ll explore how informal caregiving can impact caregivers’ mental and physical health. You’ll learn why self-care is essential—whether you’re caring for a family member, children, or a friend. We’ll practice practical strategies to help you take better care of yourself so you can better care for others. You’ll also discover useful resources to support ongoing self-care for caregivers.

Session 2: Changing Negative Self-Talk
Tuesday, Sept 15, 2026
We all experience automatic thoughts—both positive and negative—but having more positive thoughts can make a big difference in how we manage stress. In this session, participants will learn about the brain’s natural negativity bias and how it shapes our responses to stress. We’ll also discuss the benefits of positive self-talk and explore practical tools for recognizing and reframing negative thoughts.

Session 3: SLEEP Basics

Are you feeling tired or burned out? Do you consider yourself a “good” sleeper? Getting adequate, consistent sleep is essential for building resilience to stress and preventing chronic conditions such as obesity, diabetes, heart disease, and mental health disorders. In this session, participants will explore the critical role sleep plays in both physical and mental health and learn practical strategies for improving sleep hygiene to support overall well-being.
