Casey Zangaro
Casey Zangaro is an Extension Educator with Michigan State University Extension specializing in swine production. She works with producers, youth, and industry partners across Michigan, delivering research-based education on herd health, nutrition, and swine management.
Her program areas include small and niche swine production, wean-to-finish pig management, and biosecurity and herd management practices. She is a state-certified Pork Quality Assurance (PQA) trainer and Transport Quality Assurance (TQA) advisor.
Zangaro earned degrees in Animal Science from Northwest Missouri State University and South Dakota State University and previously managed a wean-to-finish swine research facility.
